Google Hangout & E-Discussion: Freedom of Movement and Women’s Economic Empowerment
|
The latest edition of the World Bank Group’s Women, Business and the Law report finds that various countries legally treat women and men differently, often hindering women’s economic empowerment by placing limits on women’s ability to move freely.
Empower Women & the World Bank Group are co-organising a Google Hangout on the topic on 2 February 2016 from 9.30 am to 11 a.m. EST. Following the Google hangout, an online e-discussion on “Freedom of Movement and Women’s Economic Empowerment” will be hosted on EmpowerWomen.org from 2 to 15 February 2016, and will serve as a space for the public to continue and broaden the conversation started on the hangout and address any follow-up questions. More information |
