Seminar on Promoting Effective and Sustainable Institutional Mechanisms for the Advancement of Gender Equality

<p> The <a href="http://eige.europa.eu/content/event/seminar-on-promoting-effective-and-sustainable-institutional-mechanisms-for-the-advanc" alt="seminar">seminar</a> will explore good practices and provide applicable suggestions on how to make the national gender equality machinery both more effective and sustainable in diverse and changing political, social and economic environments.
Gender equality experts and policy makers from the EU-28, Eastern Partnership and IPA countries will be brought together at EIGE to present an overview of the situation in their respective regions, learn about good practices and exchange practical recommendations. The seminar will have a strong emphasis on capacity-building and will provide instruments and useful knowledge for Eastern Partnership and IPA country representatives and institutions responsible for national gender equality policies in their near-term and future work.
