<p>The Indian Women Scientists’ Association (IWSA) is a voluntary, non political, secular organisation registered in 1973. IWSA has nine branches all over [Pagelink infos="Gender Equality in India"] and its head quarters are located in Vashi, Navi Mumbai. The organisation's infrastructure provides facilities such as a hostel, day care centre and a nursery. IWSA also runs a computer training centre, health care centre, science library, and a training program for Montessori teachers, besides other regular programs. All these activities are self-supporting. </p> <div id="toc"><h2>Table of Contents</h2> <ul> <li class="toclevel-1"><a href="#w_membership"><span class="tocnumber">1</span> <span class="toctext">Membership</span></a></li> <li class="toclevel-1"><a href="#w_objectives"><span class="tocnumber">2</span> <span class="toctext">Objectives</span></a></li> <li class="toclevel-1"><a href="#w_references"><span class="tocnumber">3</span> <span class="toctext">References</span></a></li> <li class="toclevel-1"><a href="#w_see-also"><span class="tocnumber">4</span> <span class="toctext">See also</span></a></li> </ul> </div><h2 id="w_membership">Membership</h2> <p>Membership of IWSA is open to all women who are science graduates and diploma holders in basic and applied sciences.
