Experts from around the world—representing the public and private sectors and all multilateral development banks—will gather in Washington June 7-8 to share new developments, lessons learned, emerging challenges, and best practices in advancing women’s economic empowerment globally.

Co-hosted by IDB President Luis Alberto Moreno and World Bank President Jim Yong Kim, the conference will comprise participants from the African Development Bank, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, and the Asian Development Bank. Speakers will include Margarita Cedeño, Vice President of the Dominican Republic José Molinas, Technical Secretary of Planning, Paraguay; and Yokasta Guzman, Director of Public Procurement, Dominican Republic.
