The New Zealand Census of Women’s Participation examines the representation of women in governance in the corporate and public sectors as well as other areas of professional life. The 2008 report is the third report of this series and was released on 31 March 2008. The Census report is increasingly used in New Zealand and internationally as a reference by politicians, policy makers, academic researchers, non governmental organisations and individual women.
